SEA presents a series of seminars taught by professionals from federal and state agencies each winter to prepare volunteers for service as wildlife interpreters. The seminars are open to the public on a space available basis. The seminars will generally be held at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology Boathouse auditorium in Charleston on second Saturdays of January through May. Topics typically include aspects of local geology, oceanography, inter-tidal life, marine mammals, birds, fisheries and Native American history and culture. See the seminar details in the current schedule.
